center console flies open !
Well after work i go into my car and the lid on the armrest is sitting at 45 degrees upward.
When i try to close it, it pops back up. Finally it stays down but on the way home over the road bumps, it shoots up again on its own and hits me in the elbow.
Does anyone else have this / had this ??

After 18 month of ownership I have this same problem now.
I will take it back to the dealer to fix as I am do fro service anyway. I have posted about this & have not got an answer from anyone. when you look underneath the bottom of the armrest lid top. They have about 8 screws holding the armrest cover to the top. I am missing 4 of the screws & others are loose.
This seem to be the cause of the problem as the fit is not tight anymore. This also causes the latch to not line up with the lid.
Iam trying to figure out when the screws got lost of if they were ever in the car. If they were in the car they would have fallen out into the top tray of the armrest. I don't think they were put in & the other screws worked loose. So would someone else with this problem look to see if you are missing screws. Raise the armrest up this is the very top part not the lower level. When you look underneath the lid you should see the screws. I have about 4 empty holes & others screws loose.
