Question Center Console

I don't know if it's normal guys but since the dealer installed the cd changer I've noticed that the center console gets cold when the A/C is on. I mean inside and out, between the seats. I also noticed that even when I close the rear A/C vents some cold air still goes out. I'm asking this because it may be possible that when removing the center console the dealer disconnected something inside it and some cold air is now leaking.
Can someone please verify if this happens to you car???
I'm afraid this may cause moisture under the console and that also means a stinking carpet. Any help would be highly appeciated.

Although, I've never had this happen to me, I think what happened is that they did not put the centerconsole back correctly. Have them check it out again...to make sure it's on correct.

There is a duct that runs though the back of the center console. That may not have been hooked up properly. See if there is any air comming out of the center console vents. If not that is probablly the case.

good luck.

Nope! Don't worry a bit. It's normal. The cold air travels through the center console to get to the rear vent.

I remember half year ago, we were disscussing about this thing, I believe back then we had this guy name Einstan on our forum. We were joking about how it's designed to be used as a refrigerator to keep our coke/pepsi nice and cold in summer.
and it's a heated storage to keep our coffee warm in winter!!

nate, Shoofin'TL, should kinda remember that thing huh??

hehe... alritie!

Yep. Whats wierd is the metal right below the center console gets pretty damned hot all by itself. I've been driving without a center console for months (Streetz! wassup?).
