cds stuck in changer

I've got 6 cds stuck in my 2003 TL-S changer (none of which are burned) and I get the dreaded Error message when I try to eject any of them. The little cd lid doesn't even open. I would try the trick of using another cd to push the stuck cd in so it ejects, but I can't even see a cd when I open the lid. I think I'm screwed. Any suggestions/advice before I call the dealer for an appointment? For those who have suffered this problem, how much anguish can I expect to go through with the dealer?

Thanks.

I think you're going to the dealer. Since none of the CDs are burned.. you shouldn't have any problems....

My Cd player plays burn c.d's just fine. But my homeboy't TL-S had a similar problem and the dealership just gave him a new deck...Though he couldn't get any of his c.d.'s back from the other deck.

I had the same problem in my Maxima with the bose system, but mine fixed itself.

Keep trying to eject.

I remember once one cd came out so I thought it started working and when I put it back in it messed up again.

And then I parked it at school once and when I came back to the car, the radio had spit out all 6 cds, they were by my shift knob and seats, it was rather funny.

Ever since than, I had no problem with it.

Keep trying it, it's the cd's fault, it's probably the paint of a cd that is peeling off in a large chunk and it got stuck to the changer shelfs.

Sooner or later it will come out.

Your homeboy's TL-S should get all of his cds back from Acura. They will send it usually 4 to 6 weeks later. Make sure he gives his address to the dealer.

If there is the error code, Acura will replace the whole unit. When I was driving home from the dealer, from picking up my new car, I thought it was like my Accords CD player and kept jambing the CD in the slot until I broke that little door cover. Then came the error code. I was like, how fn stupid can you be. So I went back to the dealer and said, I am not sure what the problem is, all stupid like. In a nutshell, they replaced it no questions asked, however they said they thought it was strange.

I got my CD player replaced immediately. They had the unit in stock (I think... there were other parts needing fixing)

I know paper labels are bad, so I stopped after getting the first one like that stuck. After that, even CDs with no labels got stuck.

The acura tech did get sweat on one of my CDs.... ruining a couple of tracks for good. Also, they misplaced my cell charging cable... I've been meaning to call them about that... oh, yeah... also black grease on both the front (tan) leather seats. I really need to call about that, and, oh, yeah......
