Let’s say if I have a smog shop I can take my 00 TL to and is not worried about the visual part of the smog is there a catalytic converter that is much cheaper that will pass the emissions part in California or am I just out of luck unless I get someone to hot smog it. Thank you

 

If you don't have to worry about the visual, than any CAT that fits will work. If you have to deal with visual you can try with the original shroud over the new CAT.
