My cat con is out... Need to get it replaced by the end of the month when inspections due. Does anybody have an idea on how much its going to run me?

 

i heard they are insanely expensive at the stealership
Options:
Scour they yards for one out of a crashed out TL - cheap
Buy a normal aftermarket CAT - normal pricing
Upgrade to High FLow CAT - pricey but money well spent over forking for a new OEM

 

go ask your local muffler shop for a price- ask 2 or 3 places, private shops not the big names
Cat failure is usually a byproduct of something else wrong with the car
When the cat is replaced the shop has to send a document to the govt saying miles and problem with unit.
How many miles on the car- whats the real story here- who and how was it diagnosed-
