cat converter install question
Hi, I just got my hi flo cat converter and I would like to install it. One problem though. I do not have the headers yet.
Would you recommend that I install the hi flo cat to the normal A pipe right now and then take the A pipe off again and install the headers to it later (I don't have the headers yet but i'm planning on getting them)? Or should I do it all at once so there won't be any exhaust leaks. It should be better to do it all at once I suppose, but I just want to know if it will make any difference at all If I ONLY do the cat now (with the stock A pipe) and then do the header install later. I'm sorta worried that the gaskets be smashed un-properly if I mess with it twice.

You can install it now, as long as you don't wait over a year to install you headers, your gasket will be ok.
