Thats pretty cool. There's a company that can put these types of effects on any plastic interior part. You can choose any design effect you want, black wood, carbon, ect. I forgot the name of the company though.

I doubt it's real CF but I could be wrong. Our cars don't even have real wood.

Looks good! ..though its most likely fake CF. Korean's are known to imitate stuff.. and before anyone goes buck-wild on me, I myself am a Korean-American.

I wouldn't mind it that much that it isn't CF.

It's a small touch.

I like it.

Hopefully the OP will come back and give up a little more info.

I'm in Seoul, South Korea.
That's not real CF, just Hydrographics.

Heres the company homepage in Soth Korea.
http://wood21co.oranc.co.kr/portfolio.html

I paid $60 for all.. Very cheap...

why would you care if this is real cf?
you really want to save an additional 1/2 pound in your TL...

it looks good.
i may look into something like that when i start my interior.

I'm mixed...I think this could be incorporated only in the right way.

For main things that will get a lot of attention...I would say real CF.

But I'm not going to pay somebody to do a "one-off" for some CF power window controls or something.

Where can I sign up? I was just thinking about doing some CF on my interior. I think it would go nicely with my ebony interior and my brushed aluminum trim.

You just need to find a company that does the service here in the States...

It's not about the weight it is about the look. Fake CF looks terrible/cheap in my opinion These look pretty good, but if I had the choice I would go with real CF.

It's like comparing fake wood with real wood. Though the hydrographics method is pretty cool IMO. I'm pretty sure that's how they got the wood pattern on the plood in our interiors.
