Carbon...I need carbon dammit!!!
Hey guys, long tyme no see, I've been out of the country for awhile... before I left, I was on 6-10 towards Houston, when a freakin hubcap slammed into my hood, I took my car for an estimate, they said that they can't paint over it, but the damages was close to $475... Why pay that when I could get a Carbon Fiber Hood!?!? Do you guys know of a place that has this rare item? I paid 325.00 for a Carbon Hood for my Prelude and $120 for a rear spoiler for my Hatchback... Shouldn't it be around the $500 range? I looked everywhere for it, and no stocks it!!! ............................................SO IF THEY DON'T STOCK IT, FIBER IMAGES CAN CUSTOM MAKE ONE BUT THAT WOULD BE THE THOUSANDS!!!...I don't know about yous guys but if I have to cough up that kind of dough, I would rather save up for a turbo for my Hatchback........................YOU FEEL ME ON THIS ONE GUYS....and gals???

Okay good, cause i've been looking for a CF hood also. But $700 is really pricey, FIBERIMAGES sells theirs for 500 and they are suppose to be the best on the market right now!

I have an OE Tuning Hood but I am not satisfied. The service sucked, came all cracked and OE Tuning said they would work it out with the shipping company and never did. I called them repeatedly and they kept saying they were going to solve the problem. Never did. So I am stuck with a cracked hood which I had to fix. I fiberglassed and hardened everything. Its also a ***** to drill and dremel all the holes out for your clips, chrome grill lip, and windshield sprayer inserts. Also, it is too damn thin!!! Feels like one hit from a rock while driving 70 mph will crack right through it. Sorry for sounding so abrasive. I had to vent.
