Angry Car Won't Start Now

Transmission completely died almost 2 weeks ago, so the car is sitting while i get my money together to get it rebuilt. But yesterday I went to start the car to move it directly forward into another parking space, the car started the first time but was shuttering then died. Tried again, and it wanted to turn over. The Next try after was a no go.. Could it be related to the transmission??

Try holding the throttle wide open while you crank it. I've seen a few cars flood when only moved a short distance a couple times like you described. Cranking, w.o.t., is "clear flood" mode as it allows maximum air with the injectors disabled. Be ready to back off the gas quickly as it starts to run.

You still can start a fuel injection car that way if you have leaky injectors !

thanx guys it started.. so does that mean i have leaky fuel injectors now or did it do that because i started it, moved it, then shut it off?? I let it run 10 minutes after i started it and about 5 more minutes after i moved it.

Now time to see about this transmission

, especially when you consider some the shitty gas they are putting out these days, and expecting the injectors to last (mileage also plays a huge part too, let alone how he drives it and such too)

but not ALL fuel injected cars have that mode though, so may not always work, but i would say at least 95% of the cars out there today got it though

Did you have hard time restart the car after trip before ? If no then maybe just because the car had been park for a while.
If yes then leaky injector/s is possible. If you have to press the gas pedal all the way in to start the car, that means for some reason, some cyl is flooded with gas, pressing gas pedal all the way in so that the throttle plate opens wide thus allow more air to come in so you can start the car.
