Car trouble - Boggs around 4500 - 5000 rpm
I'm kinda new to the site, this is my first post, I bought my 99 tl about 4 months or so ago, I have 18" ADR's and Injen intake. I recently started having problems with the car bogging down when I stomp the pedal, it usually only happens around 4500 to 5000 rpms. Like I said i am new to the Acura's and I have no clue to what could be causing this. The car only has 69000 miles on it. If any one has had this problem or could know of a solution please help. I will post some pics of my car as soon as i can.
thanks

Welcome
It's hard to diagnose your problem since we don't know how the car has been driven.
You can try a few things like using premium fuel, check for loose or broken vacuum lines (preferably done at night, in a garage with a flashlight), and an intake cleaning. There are plenty of links on the intake cleaning.
You also need to check your oil color and change it if necessary. The same goes for the antifreeze and brake fluid. When in doubt, change it.
While your car has relatively low miles, it is still going on 7 years old. Since you don't know how it was serviced, you should go through every system one by one.
After you have gone through the basics, then diagnose the electrical system and fault codes. Others have had success going to AUTOZONE to have the fault codes read. It could be the plugs or a electrical connection to the plugs.
Personally,I'd start by taking off the intake and checking all the connections and cleaning everything out. Good Luck!
