i was driving my car today and it felt like the car was rocking back and forth...it was pretty subtle...but i could feel it...more so under throttle but also their jsut coasting...it was also snowing here today..but my tires werent slipping cause the vsa light wasnt showing anyhting....anyone know what it could be?....for comparison....itfelt alot like warped brakes except the motion was back to front instead of side to side...and it was allitte more pronounced..kinda like going and stopping really fast and lightly...

 

My car feels like it sways back and forth.

That's when I took a trip to get my tire pressures checked out. Nothing wrong...dunno

It's very windy in NJ today cuz I felt the sway a little also. It can also be a pierced tire. One time I was driving and my car kept shifting but it didn't seem like anything was wrong with the tire. But the next morning it was completely flat. So check your tires!

 

Its probably just the wind. My car was doing this today too and I thought something was wrong, but when I turned down the radio I could hear the extra wind.

 

back and forth tho?...ive expericence cross wind ....ive never had it blow toward me and cause htis tho

 

The problem is a bad tranny. It is slipping. I noticed that exact problem in my TLS a few months ago. It got worse as time went by. I noticed it more if I set the cruse at 32 mph. Then all of the sudden one day I lost my tranny. Now with a brand new tranny the problem is gone.
