Car sponsorship?

hey i was at HIN in AC and filled out an application for the car sponsorship. www.carsponsorships.com

here is the email i recieved:

Hi, this is Ragen from CarSponsorships. I briefly spoke to you at the Hot Imports Nights in Atlantic City . I submitted your application to a few of our companies on Monday and I just received word from a national car company who is interested in offering you a full sponsorship. However, this particular company has a few other questions to ask about you, your car and about your future car plans/ideas before they can make a final decision. For your convenience, I have set up a web page for you to answer these questions. Please go to https://www.carsponsorships.com/carshow/sponsor.cgi and answer the questions to the best of your ability.

Remember, we are here to help you get sponsored, so I will review your answers prior to submitting them to the sponsor and contact you if I feel there are some changes we should make. I told them that I will have the answers to them by early tomorrow afternoon so please submit them as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Ragen St. Peter
National Recruiter
East Coast Division

i answered all da ques. the alst one was to enter a credit card number to pay $89 to get started if indeed i pass the answer part of it.

does this seem legit or is it liek BS sponsors?
anyone else get this email?
thanks
mike

i really judge a company with their website... their website is really busy and doesnt look very professional.. i would be careful but you never know they might just be the real deal! good luck with whatver you choose!

HUGE SCAM

go spend your 90 bucks on a mod. Anyone that asks for money up front before offering anything is probably a con artist of sorts

Good to know that A-TL members watch out for each other. Save your 90 bones for Mods.

if your car is good enough for companies to pick you up as a sponsor you wouldnt need to put up any money at all. Trust me I know how this game works.. It sucks in this this industry b/c unless you have the connection right up front you can get parts for free and start from scratch, if not you would have to spend lots $$$ on your car and then hoping you would get recognize later by these big time company.

Usualy try to find a team that is well known, and join the crew, maybe someone in the crew have connect's and can help you out.

Or second, Marketing companies such as Elliete devision, Fox Marketing , Fusion. ect.... they are marketing company that can get your started with sponosrs. But your car have to be appealing to them and the car have decent potential of getting publicity.

I can be wrong, but this is what I've learn so far.
