Possibly warped rotors... The stock rotors that came with the TL's are notorious for warping. Take it in if it's still under warranty otherwise I would suggest going for an aftermarket rotor.

shaking in the wheel typically means the front rotors, if you feel the shaking but not in the steering wheel and more in the seat, that tends to be the rear rotors.

Yep, warped rotors. Happens on 1st and 2nd generation TL's and RL's. Sucks
Mine are just a bit warped, slight vibration in the steering wheel when I brake at high speeds. It is definitely not the ABS.

I am going through this dilema as we speak with warped rotors. My good friend is an acura mechanic and he mentioned to me even with replaceing the rotors under warrenty they are sure to warp again. He suggested buying Tru Stop sloted rotors they are gaurantied not to warp. He actually has them on his acura and he says the stoping power is incrediable. He gets a really good deal on them as well, so I will probably purchase them from him. He also stated that the Acura dealership he works for has actually been buying them from him for customers that have had there rotors replaced a few times. By the way if you do go with the rotor replacement under warenty insist that they replace them and not just turn them....
