Nice to see, but the survey is from last May. I guess it would still hold true until a new survey comes out.

Yeah, that is a really old article but nice to read nonetheless.
Here is my favorite line:
"Owens says such differences could occur because the Cirrus, for example, comes with more features and thus more opportunities for problems. Or it could result from differences in expectations: A Plymouth buyer, because he paid less, might ignore rattles and flaws that a Chrysler buyer would note"
Following the same logic, wouldn't it be fair to say that Acura, Lexus etc being "Finicky" car owners, would be quicker to bring their car in at the slightest irregularity(as defined by whom?)
Therefore, the Acura owner would bring the car in for a small noise or odd shift whereas the Plymouth owner would ignore it.
All things being equal, the Acura still wins!

Amazing that so many people seem to love the Passat when comparing to the TL. Volkswagen had a horrible rating.
