I would like to know if anyone has an opinion about a car cover. I donot use the car everyday and it unfortunately stays outside. It is black and unfortunately it is hard to maintain. If anyone has one I'd appreciate a reply. Thankyou! Darlene

 

I used a cover on a black Prelude that I owned once....it scratched the out of it....i wouldn't use one on a black vehicle if I were you....

 

i use a honda car cover that i bought from my local honda dealership on my black civic si and i do not have any scratches on it. as long as your car is clean before you put the car cover on it, you shouldnt have any problems. a friend of mine that has a black civic si as well, bought a cheap car cover from pep boys and it scratched his car even after he waxed it. lastly, my father bought a car cover for his full size dodge conversion van which was custome fit for it and made of the same material that honda uses and it just so happens to be a black van, without it getting scratched. you get what you pay for, i would go to your acura dealer.
