Car Cover

I'm planning on getting a car cover for this upcoming winter. Has anyone bought the ones sold on this site, and if so, are you pleased with them? Has anyone used the oem cover? Is it worth spending alittle more and buying the more expensive ones? Thank in advance.

I own the OEM cover and love it. It was tailor made for this car and incorperates everything from the side mirrors to the antenna (OnStar). I say go with OEM.

This may sound like dumb question...but is it harmful to put the OEM cover over the car right after parking and the engine is still hot? Also, is the OEM cover waterproof. And is there any other car cover that may be better (ie. Maguire cover)

In answer to your questions:

Q: Is it harmful to put the OEM cover over the car right after parking?

A: No. The OEM cover does breathe.

Q: Is the OEM cover waterproof?

A: Yes.

Q: Any better cover?

A: Perhaps, I don't know... I personally own the OEM cover and would not go to anything else. Some people would argue the following: "a cover is a cover is a cover..." and they might be right

If you're interested in one, i have one for sale. I bought it but never really used it. I opened it up to put it on the car just to see what it would look like. I originally got it because i wasn't able to put my car in the garage, but weather had really started getting bad, so i decided to just go ahead and clean out the garage and put my car in there. So i never really got the chance to use the Acura Car Cover. If you're interested in it, PM me.
