Can't adjust headlight

So I noticed one of my headlights was lighting up trees more than the road, I check it out and it turns out the little knob where you adjust the headlights is broken. I can spin it freely in any direction with no resistance and my headlight doesn't move. My driver's is just fine and works though.

How can i fix this problem?

excellent pics of the V channnel= you slide a + screwdriver down until it meets the gear
turn screwdriver in needed direction - as indicated by arrows on top of the housing

the nut is often mistaken for the adjuster and loosened.....
is that the prob or is yours rusted off and broken?

If your plastic top panel shrouding is still intact, there's arrows indicating the direction to turn the adjusters. Make sure that you spray some penetrating oil on the adjusters to help free them up and move.

Welp I still seem a bit confused, I thought the knob i was twisting with my screwdriver was the one for the headlights. I know for certain it's not the nut. I ended up taking it to my friend who owns a shop and works on all imports, he said it's broken and he couldn't fix it. He had to close down shop for the day, but I'm just wondering if you guys know a way I can still adjust them so both of my headlights point towards the street.

a few metal washers behind the upper housing mounts would tilt it downward

ebay for aftermarket housing,,or oe,,both come with adjusters

if you had a screwdriver in the position shown- and it will turn, thats the adjuster
many people mistake the retainer nut for adjuster and crank on it with a socket
