Cannot hold position on incline

Hi All,
I have a 03 TLS. I read the Tranny FAQ and saw info about noot holding position on incline

"Vehicle may not hold its position when stopped on an incline in gear (may roll backward when the brake pedal is released). This can occur on most Acura-made vehicles. It is one of the measures used to improve fuel economy."

I just want to reconfirm that rolling back on an incline is not an issue. USually ppl use this as a test for auto trannies.

My '03 TL-S does it. My previous car did it, and the car before that did it.

It is normal. The only car I have driven that doesn't do that is a BMW. They have what they call "Brake Hill Assist"

i was wondering in addition to this, i was parking on an incline and used the parking brake, it didn't hold the car, as soon i let go of the brake, it start to slowly crawl backwards... is this normal?

it doesn't happen when i park my car in a hill w/ the nose facing downward using the parking brake.... but if i park w/ the nose facing upwards, the car rolls back even w/ the parking brake.... so i end up having to make a U-turn and park the car facing downwards..
