Can someone tell me how to post a pic of my new TL-S? I know it's a dumb question, but I don't see an obvious answer in the FAQ, etc.

a real easy way is to sign on at tripod.com
From there you can build a website, adding pics, etc all for free. Then all you have to do is copy/paste the url in the "reply box" Its really easy takes less than 15min. You can email me if you want for further info..

1. It's not a dumb question. You have noticed, as I have, all the HTML tricks people have mastered to jazz up their icons, put wallpaper in their posts, etc. etc. and wondered, "how do they do that??"

2. You're right, it should be in the FAQ if it's de facto forum policy, but it's not.

You will see a quick run through of the UBB coding. It is not hard.

Just post the picture you want aon your web space, usually provided by your ISP, then use the IMG tags (remember to use the brackets) to surround the link to your picture and it will show up.

You will need a place to put your pictures. The best free place, that I use, is http://www.fotki.com

Recognize this:

Right click on the image, copy the link/picture location, and then paste it between this [img ]<------PUT LINK HERE---->[/img ]. Note: there is no space after the "g" in "img".

Thanks everyone for all your time and tips to help an occasionally compuilliterate TL-S lover post a pic. I think I've got the hang of it now. Photopoint is much easier to link to than yahoo was.
