Question Can someone post a picture of the...

Can someone post a picture of where the tranny fluid filler bolt is on a 2003 TLs with the oil jet installed? In fact... any step by step DIY with pictures? I have tried to search the forum, but most of the picture I found seems to be pre-oil jet pictures.

Since I will be trying to do this the first time, I want to make sure I don't do anything really stupid. Thanks for the help.

you fill it in the exact same spot. you just remove the 10 mm bolt that hold the oil jet kit in. then pull it straight up and move it out of the way. (there is nothing to screw up, and it can only be put in 1 way due to how its bolted in.

Thanks a million fsttyms1. I am always amazed by your knowledge and your willingness to help people when I read your posts. THANKS!!

I have attached a picture of what I think should be done, and a question.

Step 1 : Remove the bolt circled in yellow.
Step 2 : Pull out the oil jet kit circled in orange.
Step 3 : Just fill Tranny fluid into where the oil jet kit came out.
Step 4 : Put the oil jet kit back.
Step 5 : bolt the oil jet kit back.

Question 1 : What's the thing that's also bolted down with the oil jet kit? I drew a couple of redlines to point them out.

Question 2 : Will removing the oil jet kit be harmful? For example causing the rubber ring to break or not function correctly?

Thanks again guys.

Question 1... the thing thats also bolted down is just a bracket for a wire clip (to hold it in place)

Question 2.. nope, shouldnt be harmfull at all. as long as it doesnt tear on you you are fine (it shouldnt. if it we to happen you can get that rubber o-ring gasket just about at every parts store)
