You only have a little more TQ than us.

AWD has alot more drivetrain loss than any car especially Hondas. I have beaten 2 S4s in my 2001 Maxima 5spd on the highway. They ARE NOT that quick on a ROLL stock. Modded yes they can be made quick.

But you factor in drivetrain loss on a AWD car your car will defintely be slower than a TL-S or CL-S rolling.

I am pulling my chip out this weekend b/c I am heading in for service next week. If anyone would like to give this a shot in the Boston area....I am game.

It would be especially fun on Saturday in the rain.......

You know I'm cool!

I might be game. When and where? This could be fun. A friend of mine with a 528 also wants a piece of me and he might be in town!

It's going to be raining on Saturday and we all know you don't want to "race" a quattro in the rain. Maybe Sunday?

As for Import Wars....what is the format?

Ray do you have AIM? If so, IM me at nuhuskyfan some time. I want to figure out what the deal is for Import Wars.

Ben....

rakha77 on AIM...I have you on my buddy list now.

As for import wars, I want to get there when they open so I can run in the cold temps and with less waiting....then relax and check out some cars and watch people run. Then head out around lunchtime. That is my plan. I suggest meeting in Stoneham or wherever to caravan and grab a coffee or milk or whatever everyone has in the morning. I would like to get there when they open. Not sure if everyone else is as gung ho to get up and get there early. IM me so we can figure it out, and post here and pon AW and BAG to organize something.

My cell is 508-423-8171 if you prefer to call.

Looks like the weather might be good on Sunday for a run. Ben let me know! Where would be a good place to run?

I'm not really sure where the best place for a run would be There are stretchs of Route 9 out by 495 that would be OK if we had some people with us to scout out for cops and to make sure we don't do it w/ traffic...etc.

I took the chip out Wednesday night....the car feels gutless

Anyway, as for Import Wars......I am down w/ the early arrival and caravan. The only thing I am trying to decide on now is race gas.

Do I go to Adrenalin and pay $6+ a gallon for 104, buy 103 at Epping (but my chip takes a while to adapt) or do I drive down to RI on Friday night and buy 100.....decisions decisions.....

hmmmmm

i would say go for RI....but if adrenalin is equally as close, go there for the 104. I'll say there is no point getting it at epping since you need time for the ecu to adapt.

Who knows...give it a shot although if you're stock I think you will lose all around even with a bad S4 driver.

Sorry I chickedned out. I actually didn't get out of bed till 12:30 this afternoon and then I ended up staying home and watching my beloved G-Men beat the cowgirls and brady crashing down to earth!

I also was not in the mood to race after racing my friend's 528 on Friday (smoked him from a stop three times but on the highway we were about even with him maybe a hair faster) and getting my car towed last night. Last thing I would need is a ticket for racing. Sorry guys.
