Can I swap titanium trim pieces on '03 CL Type S for burlwood trim on TL Type S?

I like the metal look against the black leather interior moreso than the burlwood. I was thinking that the (fake) titanium trim would go really well with the climate control knobs, metallic face guages, and the shifter gate.

If some or none of the pieces fit, how do you guys think a metallic paint would apply to those pieces? Are those faux wood pieces difficult to remove? Maybe this is more trouble than its worth.

Someone on this forum got the pieces painted, forgot who. It looked really really nice.
I personally like the brushed aluminum look.

looks ok, a little out of place, I personally like the type-s gray wood trim, one reaosn i went for the S.
If you are insistant on painting it, why not go with a darker silver, more gunmetalish

Black-wood trim and Black-wood wheel is the combo I like ,
this along with the ebony leather has that understated look
of class.
