camber kit needed?
I have an 02 type S, and was thinking about the H&R sport springs. Will I need a camber kit for this setup (1.75F, 1.5R)? I really dont want to lower it that much; all I really want is for it to handle better.

woooo!!
many people who have HR sports dont have a camber kit. a general rule of thumb (anyone correct me if im wrong) is if you lower more than 1.75" you will need camber kit, otherwise its optional.
appearance-wise though, i think the drop on HR sports is really sweet... it eliminates the ugly wheel gap almost perfectly.
if you are still worried about the drop, why not go for something a little less? the tein h-tech springs lower 1.5" in the front and 1" in the back.

I think it's a crap shoot with H&R Sport Springs. I have a 1999 TL with the drop (1.75") and a heavy sound system in the trunk, but I haven't needed a camber kit. Then again, there are members with a similar setup (with or without a system) who have needed it. Either way, I think it's worth trying simply for the improvement in handling and that aggressive stance.
If you do lower your TL, be sure to get an alignment soon afterwards! I didn't and it wound up destroying my tires. Good luck.

After I had my TEINs installed, had them alligned as well as possible and just have them balanced and rotated every 3 thousand miles. Kinda a pain in the ass but free unlimited rotations came with the tires.
Thanks,

camber kits are overrated. You can actually corner better with that negative camber. the only reason I got the Ingalls camber kit on my old Prelude is cuz I was running thru tires too often cuz of the lowering. But honestly, as long as you keep rotating ur tires often, a camber kit won't give you more than 2500 more miles on ur tires.

Well, my -1.5 camber on the rear ruined a set of tires (ie couldn't rotate them up front because of the pull) in under 2500 miles.
