Ok, right now my car is bone stock... first thing I'm going to do is tint my windows, but I cant make up my mind on which ones to get. If I get black tints (20%) I'm afraid it will look too black, and thugged out. My other option is to get platinum tints (18%) but I'm afraid of it looking ricey. Any opinions? I need help

 

i went with the 20% all around and i was afraid it was going to be too thugged out, but it came out really good, its not black and thugged out....if you dont want thugged out stay away from 5%, btw i also got my full winshield done 50%

 

We'll heres something to give you an idea. I have 28% tints.



It's not too dark, not too light, just inbetween. I like it like that, but I would have to say most people would like it darker.

And here's a comparasion with the tint and no tint (no tint on the front two). Had to get it stripped one time... stupid cops. But it's back to the first picture.

 

I went with 20% on the rear windows and 35% on driver and pass , I wouldn't even consider putting film on the windshield

I have 30% on the sides and 20% on the rear. Looks really good, IMO.

 

I had the exact same problem, got them tinted too dark, got pulled over for it and got a ticket, had to have the tint on the front windows removed, got the ticket taken care of, took it back to the Tinting place the same day and got it re-tinted the same as it was before I got the ticket, lol.

 

i got 20% all around (not windshield) and im verry happy!...whenever u see cops, roll all ur windows down A.S.A.P!
