cai installed

so i just paid someone 43bucks to install my CAI. and is it me, or does the car seem like it idles hire than it usually does? not by that much but definitely not stock. and is it me or is it just in my head, my car does seem quicker, lol

yea when i am in park, it idles at 1 1/4 rpm. and when i start braking, right before i hit a complete stop, it seems like the car is gasing just a little bit like it wants to keep going...any inputs on this? bad for my car? should i take it out? any help would be nice, thanks fellas

mine idles at 700..not sure whats wrong with urs. maybe someone can chime in. i think it might be ur accelerator cable under the hood might be stuck? happen to me b4

1250 rpm is too high.

Check the TB cable, it might be snagged or not in the right position. Although I don't know why it would have been touched during install. But that's the only thing I can think of.

adjust these, there should be no tension on the cable closest to the engine/ the one that goes across the radiator





adjust the tension by loosening the srews and making sure that there is not any tension on that. what happened to me is the cable was pulling back on the TB and not letting it close all the way giving me a high idle, 2500 rpm for me. the other cable is the foot control to teh gas petal, check that too.

lol thanks everyone who said check the tb cable. btw, how does your guy's cai sound? my sounds way different than i thought it would sound. before on my legend, i had a short ram and it sounded completely different. i know its a different intake system but still, sounds kinda funny to me. when i am about to press the gas before wot, its almost like a screeching sound. any inputs?

my CAI is in the mail when i get it next week ill leave my input on the sound quality so you can compare
