Is This CAI Filter Still Usable? Is it a Dry Flow or Oiled Filter?

I bought a used AEM V2 intake a while back and was going to install it soon but I noticed the filter wasn't in the best shape. There are no rips or tears but it is bent in some places and isn't perfectly flat at the top. I've attached some pictures of the filter below. Does it still look usable or should I buy a new one? I'm not sure if the bent parts affect the performance/use of the filter. Also, is it a dry flow or oiled filter? I was going to clean it up if it is still usable but don't know which type of cleaner to buy since I don't know if it's dry flow or oiled? Thanks in advance for the help.

Yeah your good once you clean and oil it. The filter that came with my V2 is in way worse shape and I'm just going to clean and oil it and use it that way. Most used aem filters will be bent yours is actually not bent all that bad. I think it is from when you install it and your pushing it on the tube and because the filter is just that very thin mesh it bends easily.

So it is an oiled filter? It seems like it was a dry flow filter which would require no oil but I'm not sure. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks for the video. The reason for my question is to determine which cleaning kit to buy. There is a cleaning kit for the dry flow filter and a different cleaning kit for the oiled filter.

Give AEM a call if you are at all unsure.
Any idea how many miles on it?
They come factory oiled usually so its most likley DryFlow.
Look for some model # and do a search on it.

My Injen oiled filter has a notably oily feel (besides the expected road oil) and gets really quite dark when dirty - almost black.
I'm quite certain that's a DryFlow because of its whitish color and thicker cotton gauze.
Look inside with a flashlight and compare that to both filters (my oiled was dark colored thought the entire filter).
If it is oiled, maybe he washed it. I highly doubt it, as they come light gray when washed.
The oiled filters are not so-post to be cleaned as often and end up black/gray before cleaning (dirt clinging to oil).
End of the day, I'm quite sure that filter is a DryFlow...
