If you can wait until Friday around noon I can probably help you out. I've been meaning to back up my hard drive but the only laptop I have that will accept a PCMCIA hard drive happens to have a busted ethernet port, so I can't get the files off of the laptop.

I bought a USB cable with the intent of putting the files up on my server (for back up, since the hard drive seems like its going to fail next time it gets hot) but that's at my house, and I won't be home until Friday morning.

even then, I wouldn't count on me being able to find it friday morning, but there's a chance (if it will still do you any good then).
