A/C Not cold as ICE?

I was wondering does anyone who drives a 03 tl notice (NY area) in 85 degree hazy weather that there AC isn't as cold? Should the AC filter be changed? It is only 3 years old.

My 03 bugged out on Monday (Memorial day) I was driving on the highway with the A/C going, then all of a sudden it just puffed in humid ass air. I shut it for a few minutes, then it was back to normal.

It's should be as cold in 60 degre as in 85 degree hazy .You need to re-charge freon to
your system.
When in 85 degree I did notice that the car is not pick up as fast as if the AC is off .
Dame compressor .......

The AC is not going to be as cold in 85 degree compare to 60 degree. The outside air comming into the evaporator is an extra 25 degrees hotter.

man to be honest, its been like 90 the past few days here in MD and when I get into my car (03 TL-S) within 5 seconds the A/C is nice and cold. Thats in auto mode, and it gets so cold I go into the manual mode (navi) and turn the fan down.

My car's A/C is not one of its strong points. The Camry, though older with over 2x miles, will freeze me. The TL won't get all that cold, and I think it's unacceptable to recharge the system at 61k.

I think mine could go for a re-charge. Here in Atlanta its been so hot i think my canadian ass just might melt one of these days. And on top of that I'm takin the TL to Orlando tomorrow, which is supposed to be just as hot.

Oh - how much does it cost for a charge up? I'd prolly want to do it at the acura dealer unless another shop can do it just as well.

hmmm, i wondered why does my fan feel cooler and more powerful than my A/C. Does anyone notice this? I put on the function that AC is off, fan on, tempature 60 degrees, and it blows cool, strong air while when i turn on AC, its not as cool, and the air is weaker.
