After 8 years and 122k I finally had my A/C charge inspected. When we connected the machine I had a low charge of 40psi and a high charge of 150.

The high should be in the area of 200psi while idling. We increased the charge to 200ish while idling and then held the RPM's at 2k to simulate highway speeds. The high jumped to 275. So we idled and let out some gas from the low. And then repeated. This time the high was 250psi and apparently in the area it should be.

Idle again was 200ish psi and operates properly.

With a thermal gun with A/C cranked:
Before charge air temp :58-65f
After charge air temp : 30-34f

Needless to say the interior of my car feels completely differently and the A/C unit runs less now. I'm gathering because it has less call on it because it's more effective.

I'm going to do another run to Nevada, really hot there, in Sept. We'll see if this charge helps to increase my MPG.

My mechanic was really nice and did it for free with the A/C tensioner and Oil change.

Well I just spent $290 with him. A/C Ten, Oil Change, Parking Brake Tightening and brake fluid check.
