Sorry to hear about your loss. Just curious, hows the dealership experience with the tranny issue been?

- Any specific symptoms??? Did it slowly go, or did you leave parts behind you on the highway?

Thx,

Hope it wasn't mine!

I traded my 2001 White Diamond Pearl 2001 TL-P in Dallas last August. It had something like 22K miles at the time and the tranny was starting to act up. Acura said it was okay so all the more reason to trade.

I traded it in at Texas Mustang Auto, did you get it there by any chance? They might have wholesaled it to another dealer. It had a scratch on passenger side rear bumper and a burlwood shift knob. It also had a slight "shimmy" sometimes at about 60mph that I couldn't get rid of despite trying lots of stuff, including new wheels and tires (on my dime). I had also smoked in it (but did not use the ashtray).

Sound like your car at all?

well the tramisson wouldn't catch the gear, so it would rev up to 5k rpm before the car would even move, luckly enough i was 1 block from the dealer when it happen, went there drop it off, got a rental, 1 week later got my car back, tramission is going good so far
