I would go with 3, 2, then 1. Wait. Cancel that. No way I would get a Civic, even if it has mods.

This may sound dumb, but the tranny is going again on your TL-S but the CL-S is on your list? I guess I'll assume you are going to go with a manual tranny and that tranny isn't having problems? If that is the case, I would also go with the CL-S......manual tranny and supercharged!!!! SWEET!!!

Go with an Infiniti G35, 260hp/260tq. Sport package and premium package can be had for about $33K. The car looks a lot better with the body kit they have for it as well. I'm all but fed up with Acura and the TL-S as this point as well,

Go with the CL-S, this way you can throw some stuff from your TL to the CL....rims, exhaust, and whatever you have left. This way you can salvage your mods.

Civic - No matter what you do to it, its still a civic.
WRX - Fast. But not fast enough to make up for the fact its ugly, and a Subaru.
CL-S - 6 speed.

Keep your TL dude. they will get it right eventually. You and everyone else in this forum knows that we have a good car. peroid. they talk sh1t all they want, but they still know its a good car.

Acura will break their balls to fix the tranny issue, and yah, its their bad, and some dealerships might give you ****, but it will get fixed dude. i can see by your pics you love your car. why change? the only thing i would take over my car is an M5, maby a 540i sport. and my best friend has owned both, and even then i love my TL when i get in to it.

-Shear

PS if your really gunna swap cars, wait till '04, maby you will like the new TL...

Why should you stick around, and wait for Acura to get something right that is so important, like a freaking Tranny! You already gave it one try, so have I, and now its about to go out again! Forget that, 03 people are having problems also, so how long should you wait?

You may need to take a good hit in the pocket though if you trade out, as the market is not flying for TLs right now, and its resell doesn't seem as hot as what most honda products are known for.

Whatever you do, how in the world would you be more happy with a 98 civic, coming from a TL, even with a POS tranny. I'd rather have my tranny replaced once a year then drive a 98 civic IMO WRX is a nice car, a driver's car, mods well too, but cheap looking inside and out, as well as the shifter's feel. For some the performance out weighs these, but for many, how the car looks is very important.

CL-S 6spd is pretty nice, but is starting to look aged to me, infiniti's new coupe can be had with a 6pd also, and looks pretty hot IMO.

If you decide to get rid of your TL-S & I hope you don't, because I was looking forward to cruising ATL streets w/you one night, I'll buy some of your mods from you
