I am getting ready to purchase a 2000 TL w/ NAv and only 58k for $13,000. Does this sound like a good deal and can you use the NAV to play DVD's in park? I also want to integrate my ipod into the stereo, any ways of doing this?

 

I would say the price sounds average to good depending on the overall condition of the vehicle. 58k is certainly low, in my mind when you figure 13k or more averaging a year. Let's see, we're in the 7th model year after '00, so 7X13k miles is 91k miles. But, there again, it depends of the overall condition of the vehicle. Good luck.

 

Sounds good. Yes you can use the navi to play but it requires some modification (not terribally hard) and yes there are good ways of hooking the ipod up to the HU directly Blitzsafe makes an adapter

 

Great, thanks for the responses. The car is in excellent condition. Was owned by a house wife who put hardly no miles on the car and treated it very well...all service records from the dealer are valid. I'm real excited to get back into the acura family. I had an integra as my first car and loved it.

Does anyone else have an opinion on the price of this car? I definately don't want to be turned upside down on the deal. Also is the extended warranty an option I should look at?

 

honestly.. it sounds like a good deal.. but I personally wouldnt get it unless it was a 99.. just partial to the 99's because of the tranny.
