ok i tried playing a CD i burned in my '99 TL the other day and its having trouble playing. I can eject it easily so its not getting stuck or anything, its just not playing. Has anyone else experianced these problems? Could the brand of CD im using matter at all? Any info would help. Thanks.

 

I guess the word " Search " Isn't in your vocabulary. So I will save you some time. Buy a cd changer. Thats is all.

 

I had my cd changer replaced 2ce, all for reasons not pertaining to your problems, but the notice that came with the new changers said that you shouldn't play burned CDs, cuz it corrupts the sensors, i think this is a sh**tload of crap, and that all car manufacturers say this... but i don't think its tru. So, just take it into the dealership, let them see what the problem is. I'm not sure if it would still b under warranty. Try burning another CD 2, maybe its a CD-RW?? Best thing... let the people who built the car check it out.

Try TDK thats what i use and they work fine .... Someone else suggested using verbatim with lower recording speed

 

My burned CDs work fine but I'm in an 02 TLS. But I'vve hear that CD-RW don't work in all CD players
