Nick - FYI, You can't LEGALLY sell backups of computer disk either. Selling backup copies of computer programs, movies, navi, etc are all the same illegal activity. Since the hack, all DVD's can be backed up (for your own personal use) but you CANNOT sell that DVD (even if you sell the movie you essentially would have to 'give away" the copy you made to stay 100% legal). I work in the computer industry and trust me, it's not a pleasent experience going up to one of my clients and telling him "I can't fix your problem until you own a legal version of the software". Many people simply 'get a copy" of word, office, etc and then try to RUN THEIR BUSINESS off of it. It's AMAZING how cheap some people really are. Their business can make them thousands for $'s a day, yet they use illegal copywritted software every day thereby exposing that business everyday to illegal activities. PEOPLE!!! BUY YOUR OWN FRIGGIN SOFTWARE FOR PETE'S (AND EVERYBODY ELSES) SAKE!!!

you opened up a dead post to start a fight? come on. thats silly.

wow.

by the way i am a programmer and i know its not nice when you work hard and someone just copies your stuff. At the same time if someone pays for a navigation system and is told they will get a update every year but instead had to wait almost 3 years. That is the same thing a con-artist would do.

There were people who bought the navigation system in terms that they will have a update soon so they can use it better. In the srycause dealership the navigation systems didnt cover anything and people were told they would get a update and not to worry.

Hehe, It's illegal to sell, but it's legal to give away and ask for a suggested donation.
