Broke my foglight! Need help replacing it!

I was pulling into my garage yesterday and pulled to far forward, and ended up putting a corner of a box right thru the glass of my passenger side fog light.

I was so mad, i wanted to scream. Im thinking of taking it to Acura, but im sure they wont replace it under warranty and probably charge me an Arm and a Leg to replace it.

So, does anyone have any idea what itll cost to replace it? And is there a way to buy a set off of this site and not thru Acura, so i dotn have to pay a fortune?

Thanks!

You can order one from this site! It may be backordered from Acura though; I'm still waiting for my foglight lens replacement (rock broke it).

You could check www.copartfinder.com (or a local junkyard) or see if your dealer would be kind enough to replace it under warranty (can't hurt to ask, right?).....

Well... I damaged my driver side foglight lens last time and made dealer to replaced it under warranty. Besides get a new one, talk to your dealer, maybe you can get it for free. Just like juniorbean said, "can't hurt to ask".

If you can't get it under warranty...I paid $60 for a new foglight, installed, from an Acura recommended shop. But if you do a search, I think there were a couple of people who paid less. I remember feeling stupid about how much I paid

If you're inclined, you can just got get some plexiglass from
home depot and repair it yourself. I'll show pics of my fog lights
in a few weeks. Tearing em apart and adding a yellow housing.

you can get it from this site for 45 bugs. installation is very easy. but it seems that the lens is on back order for some while already. i was lucky to find one at the dealer close to here for 60 bucks.

and btw, i would suggest getting the xpel to protect the lens. they are well worth it.

I have a rock chip on my passenger side foglight lense as well... ARG.... Oh well... as the fogs are so close to the road, it's bound to happen sooner or later...

yeah, our fogs are not made of really strong glasses, and they are so close to the ground, it doesn't really take much to chip or break them......

Mine broken too

Just discovered last week my passenger side fog light is broken too. I'm going to see if they will replace it under warranty. Nice to know it isn't a $500 item.

i went to sierra acura today and straight out asked the service agent if i can get that fixed under warranty. told him about this site and how a dozen others have the same problem, and that it might be thin glass. he said the chances are nil for me because they pinpointed the cause to be from a projectile (the lens chipped all the way through and you see cracks). it's not like it cracked by itself.

i am going to try pasadena acura since i bought the car there...update to come. but i think i am going to end up buying it myself. if so, i am going with ion yellow fogs!!!
