Broke my foglight! Need help replacing it!
I was pulling into my garage yesterday and pulled to far forward, and ended up putting a corner of a box right thru the glass of my passenger side fog light.
I was so mad, i wanted to scream. Im thinking of taking it to Acura, but im sure they wont replace it under warranty and probably charge me an Arm and a Leg to replace it.
So, does anyone have any idea what itll cost to replace it? And is there a way to buy a set off of this site and not thru Acura, so i dotn have to pay a fortune?
Thanks!

You could check www.copartfinder.com (or a local junkyard) or see if your dealer would be kind enough to replace it under warranty (can't hurt to ask, right?).....

If you can't get it under warranty...I paid $60 for a new foglight, installed, from an Acura recommended shop. But if you do a search, I think there were a couple of people who paid less. I remember feeling stupid about how much I paid

If you're inclined, you can just got get some plexiglass from
home depot and repair it yourself. I'll show pics of my fog lights
in a few weeks. Tearing em apart and adding a yellow housing.

you can get it from this site for 45 bugs. installation is very easy. but it seems that the lens is on back order for some while already. i was lucky to find one at the dealer close to here for 60 bucks.
and btw, i would suggest getting the xpel to protect the lens. they are well worth it.

umm, weird, seems tim doesn't carrry it anymore (he does carry the cl type s lens though, funny...). the price he had was 45 bucks i am pretty sure. he now has the whole fog light for 212 bucks, wow...
maybe you can email info@autocarparts.com and ask about it.

i went to sierra acura today and straight out asked the service agent if i can get that fixed under warranty. told him about this site and how a dozen others have the same problem, and that it might be thin glass. he said the chances are nil for me because they pinpointed the cause to be from a projectile (the lens chipped all the way through and you see cracks). it's not like it cracked by itself.
i am going to try pasadena acura since i bought the car there...update to come. but i think i am going to end up buying it myself. if so, i am going with ion yellow fogs!!!
