Bright LED Turn Signals

I was wondering if any one of you have a bright amber LED turn signal for the Tail lights (plug and play). I want something as bright as the regular bulbs. Also, an easy resistor to install so the speed of the blink is normal.

Just to let you know, you should just keep your stock bulbs if you want bright. Leds aren't that bright unless they are white. And if you really want leds, you have to get bulbs with at least 40 smds coming out from all around the bulb to get it brighter than the stock bulb.

I know because I changed my turn signals to red (I hate amber) and the leds were shit, especially since they were only facing front. And then I got smds and they were decent but not even close to brightness when compared to stock.

the LED ones for my bike are brightazz compared to stock 1156/7 bulbs
--at night--
daytime not as bright,,need regular T/S bulbs to make the full visual= grabbing attention and normal seeing them
if you use- the multi bulb covered on all sides (see ebay) are better
resistors, they make a ceramic(?) one now that doesnt get hot like the regular/old school ones
ck motorcycle stuff if car shops dont carry

I got a set of led switchbacks on ebay for $50.00. they stay blue/white while on and turn amber when turn signal is on.I love how bright and clean they look ! your also gonna need a small wedge type bulb that sits under the turn signal light. But overall i would recommend them. The load resistors attach one end to the power supply and the other ground it to the car. i just drilled a screw into the car to ground it.

Hes talking about the rear turn signals. If you aren't going to change the color, just leave the rear and get some switchbacks and leds for the front. One of the cleanest and best mods. Thats if you already have cleared/blacked out headlights.

That all sounds nice but I want something bright so its visible during the day. It sounds like I'm going to have to stay stock.

I have a '99 and thinking of getting the 2002/2003 tail lights. If I do get them then I would want to get amber colored LED's.

i used vled switchbacks. nothing is as bright as stock however. with stock bulbs i could see the reflection of signs meters away. with leds i see no evidence of it working, however its bright to the eye and its white when off.
