Break rotor and pad question
Since my current stock rotors are warped (03 TL-S) I am going to get the Rotora slotted rotors to replace them, thanks to all the previous post for help deciding that
I do have one question. The dealer is going to put the new rotors on for free (under warranty, instead of replacing with stock ones...I am paying for the Rotoras) and new stock break pads. Are the stock pads ok to use? By that I mean will they make lots of noise and how will they hold up.
I should say I drive fairly conservatively (most of the time) and I don't race my TL-S. Just normal Los Angeles freeway commuting.
Thanks

the stock pads will be just fine - that is the exact setup Im going to do soon. The stock pads will be quiet just like they are now. the slotted rotors will wear the pads down slightly faster vs. a blank rotor, but it will be ok.
