he's saying you SHOULD vary your speed in the break in, that means absolutely NO cruise control and no steady driving at 70 mph or whatever for a long period of time.

and don't take the tach over 5500, even better to say 5000, revving higher in break in will make you want to rush the breakin period because after 5000 is where most of the power is

good luck if you decide to get one!

if i were you i would just play it safe... I would keep the Tech below 4000 rpm.. after 1000 miles feel free... Remember do your 1st oil change @ 3000 miles.

This is what I did. Kept the tach under 4000 RPM, varied my speed (never over 80mph) and never used SportShift. After 1000 miles, it was on!! Oh and my dealer and the manual said first oil change at 3750, but I did it at 4100.......

my dealer says don't go more than 4000rpm for the first 6000km(3750 miles) and not to use the cruise control either.

but u can use the sports shift and go as fast as u want, just don't go over 4000rpm!!

my car is still in break in period(got it last month) and i never go over 4000rpm and no more than one thrid of throtte.
