Has anyone tried to put an led strip on a WW spoiler? Maybe take it off the oem spoiler and flush mount it on the back of the WW? I know there would have to be some serious modifications.

 

i brought that idea up a while back, and there were some photoshops of what it would look like, it didnt come out a as well as i imagined.

 

Yea that would be a good idea...how hard is it to do? I didn't mount mines on yet so I might consider trying that out.

 

i think what you would have to do is carve out a slit for the LED's and then drill a hole to run the wire into the trunk and connect it w/ the top brake light.

 

I dont know but this might be a suggestion that you guys might want to look at. The other day I saw a Scion TC and its 3rd LED brake light was embedded into the trunk's exterior. Looked pretty cool, it looked pretty small enough to actually serve the purpose of embedding it into your spoiler. Check it out.

 

someone has done the 3rd brake light into the trunk mod. I forget his name. He did some crazy body modfications.

 

^^ yeah, and it didnt look good either...

BTW i photoshoped the break light into the ww flushmount and it definetly looks real goofy because it'll take up most of the spoiler's body...even if its a small light....leave it how it its, its hot!
