brake peddle solinoid

Unhappy brake peddle solinoid

has anyone had to replace brake peddle solinoid because of a clicking sound when you first press on the peddle not just in park but driving also

I thought our brakes are purely hydraulic. What solenoid?

I'm with daverman...I don't think our braking system uses solenoids...if they did, I couldn't imagine that being too safe. Can you elaborate on this "click" sound?

The click sound you hear may be the brake caliper housing moving against the suspension assembly. The calipers tend to get hot during braking, so there's quite a bit of "play" between its housing and the suspension. Once the brakes get warm, the clicking noise should cease.

Are you possibly talking about the electrical brake switch? There's a switch that is depressed whenever the brake pedal is in the resting position. The switch opens when you step on the brake pedal and activates the brake lights. Yes, mine makes a soft click whenever the brake pedal is depressed. I don't think this is a cause for concern though.
