brake pads
#2
Really depends on the type of replacements u buy. I usually use some brake silencer which u can find at any auto parts store and put a small amount on the back side of the pads around the outside edges. Let the product sit till it's very tacky then install the pads. I've installed many brakes on diff cars and have never had them squeak using this techinque. Good luck with ur install..

Burning Brakes
Most pads (like the stock pads) come with a small package of anti-squal compound that you apply between the back side of the pad, the anti-squeel plates, and the caliper. It's always a good idea to apply something to prevent rattle due to vibration.
