The stainless steel brake lines, what do they do? is it worth the $$?

When you step on the brake, the diameter of the brakeline might increase due to higher pressure. That also means that you lose some brake power...

The stainless steal brakeline will ensure that the diameter of the brakeline is always the same, so you get a higher pressure when you jam on the brake.

However, I hread that the stock brakeline on our TL is pretty thick and the race goodie shop actually recommend me to not to change it.......

SL1200 is right. The metal braided brake lines give you a firmer pedal feel when you are stopping your baby hard. I would wait til the stock one gets old and starting to detoriate since they are rubber, then upgrade to the metal one.
