Brake lamp out indicator

One of my running lights went out in my left taillight and i replaced the bulb. Now the brake light out indicator is lit on the dash. No other lights are out, so does anyone know how i can reset it?

If the brake light indicator is on there is still a brake light out. Don't think you can reset it. Make sure you check while pressing the brakes. Just turning the lights on would do you any good.

Thanks Bitium. The bulb that i replaced was working for the parking lights only. I went outside and wiggled the wire around and now everything is o.k.

That light that says brake also comes on when sensor for fluid is damaged, not seated properly or Brake fluid is low

There are two different indicator lights. One says brake, one says brake lamp.

You are welcome. One for the parking brake so you don't drive around with it on and the other one for bad bulb and maybe: for sensor for fluid is damaged, not seated properly or Brake fluid is low like NighthawkBlack said.

If it say BRAKE LAMP, the first thing I would check will be 3rd brake lamp on tray package right behind the Sub. That's easy to miss.
