Brake fluid - Dot4 or Dot3?

Hi,

I'm considering changing out the Brake lines to the Comptech SS lines, along with slotted rotors and Axxis Utlimates pads. I was wondering what Brake Fluid should I use? I keep seeing people say "Use only the honda Genuine Heavy Duty Brake Fuild DOT3." I'm was planning to the Motul 600 Synthetic Racing Brake Fluid on comptechs web site, but I'm not sure. Anyone have any suggestions?

Best Regards,

Bryant Fong

I believe I read about this a while back. you should probably go with whatever the manufacturer of the brakes suggests. If competech suggests that kind of brake fluid, then go with that. no point in investing like a thousand bux on a brake system, and then chinsing on the brake fluid which costs 10 bux, if you're gonna do it, go the whole nine yards. And I think btw it's Dot 3 fluid.
