Brake dirt

Hey guys. I was washing my car today, and started with the wheels. While doing so, I noticed that there's a yellow-orange film covering my rotors, but just the front ones. What would be causing this and is this normal? Thanks in advance.

drive the car, and while going 40 km/h or so, apply the brakes so that the pads go all around the rotor...that should remove the rust...but the problem is, all that dirt and rust goes on the pads....

if I were you, use a high pressure washer to clean the rotors...that will remove all the crap on them...

make sure though to apply thew brakes likes 10 times after doing that, b4 getting all the braking power back, with that much water in the brakes...it will be hard to do a good panic stop.
