Angry It was bound to happen...

Since I got my TL-S in March, I've been driving way too fast on the highway (usually around 80 to 90). Well I was on I-95 up in Newbury which is 50 miles North of Boston. It's an 8 lane highway that's always wide open. I was cruising as always when I noticed a State Trooper entering the hwy from the right. I immediately slowed down and moved to the center lane. He then of course pulled right behind me- NAILED! He had already clocked me at 86 in a 65. That's $185! I havn't gotten a ticket in 6 years. There goes my good driver discount for my insurance.
After I got the ticket I continued on my way moving with the flow of traffic. I still managed to go 80 with cars flying past me! I was truly at the wrong place at the wrong time since everyone flies on this road.

Gotta be slick. Tell the cop that you are in a hurry to get home cause you have the runs.

He'll understand.

It's the color of your car.

I have been on that road, doing 110 and passed a cop gunning on the side. He didn't pull out at all. Probably didn't notice me cuz of the color (that's my opinion, of course).

Here in Florida they have "Ticket Defense Team" law firms that will fight your ticket for you and in most instances get you off the hook. They charge around $79 - $99 and if they take care of it and DO get you off you get no record and NO points; check it out in your state.

All of my friends have done this successfully! No bull

I would doubt that even the Valentine One would pick up a cop with instant-on radar.
And, I have really been torn between the Escort 8500 and Val-1. I have a 7500 and it seems to still work great.

Well, I have a continuation to my original post from Friday 5/25. Having not learned my lesson from earlier that day, I proceeded on my way with my wife down to NY. We came accross a nice long downhill portion of I-95 in Rhode Island which I'm familiar with. I actually drove my old Supra Turbo at 120 down this very same stretch a few years a go. I couldn't help myself and went quite fast but not nearly as fast as 120. Anyway about half way down the hill, I notice I blow past a trooper who's hiding behind a tree going at least 90! I scream OH F***!! waking up my wife who was dozing. There is no way I'm getting 2 tickets in the same day. I look in the rear view mirror and see the cop try to pull on to the hwy but he's having trouble because of on coming cars. I immediately decide that I'm bugging off the next exit and gunned it! Luckily, the next exit was just over a hill and I was praying that he didn't see me. We went right to a gas station and got out of the car and went to the bathroom. After a couple of minutes we realized we gave him the slip! I've never done this before and I hope I never have to again. My heart was racing the whole time and believe it or not, the wife went along with everything I was doing. I gotta take it easy especially on weekends when there is a pronounced police presence everywhere. Whew!!

I got a ticket in California and I live in Phoenix, but I am going to go to the class that the cops hold and it takes the ticket off your record.

I think so. It's just North of Exit 3 in RI. I was going southbound. It's just way to easy to fly down it!
