Bottomed out - help?!

O.k. I was flying through an intersection with a realized a huge hump in the road. By then it was way to late to brake so when I hit it at about 70mph. The car went up and slammed back down and I heard the shocks hit and all that good stuff. Now when I go over slight bumps and things I hear like this squeegy sound. what does that mean? Any ideas? Have I torn something up?

I feel for you. That sucks...I guess that's the price you pay for having your car lowered. I still think it's worth it, but obviously there are always risks involved.

If I were you, take it to the place you had it installed at, and explain to them that you all of the sudden began to hear squeaking (don't mention the big bump), and see what they say. Let them inspect it.

Yeah if you apply pressure to your shocks. Bounce them up and down you hear a air leak..

you may need to take a walk upstairs and talk to your sister, I think I am going to get Koni Yellow struts soon. I called comptech and my springs should be here maybe next week. We just had like a foot of snow so I am waiting till after winter to do struts and springs. Thats too bad, you need to slow down a bit girl!

Cody, you are so right I do need to slow down. This really ticks me off because I had other plans for my car next month. So your getting Koni Yellow struts? I think I'll do the same. Why did you choose them?

Not trying to worry you but hopefully only your shocks went out. Check your tires to make sure no bubbles were formed on the outer or inner sidewalls.

I just got Tokico HP Blues over the weekend, and they are great. I recommend Tokico - another option for you to choose from instead of Koni.
