I have a 2002 TL-S and was wondering which sound system sounds the best the second generation sound system or the third generation system. My sound system sounds great to me but I never heard the ELS. And I know that the bose made it on edmunds top 10 sound systems.....so let me know

 

3rd gen sounds better. The bose system is very flat in our 2nd gen tls.

 

no highs no lows, it must be Bose

 

i dont like the subwoofer in the 3rd gen, it doesnt sound as powerful to me.. other than that, i like them both equally..

 

i got no idea and kind of off but i was in my buddy's lexus sc400, and his mark levinson sound system was sick

I've got both - an '02 and an '07. The '07 is much better. Better clarity, better range, better sound stage.

 

Do u mean Sc430. THe Sc400 has a Nakamichi system

 

Best Stock I have heard is in my Buddies 2007 Range Rover HSE. You have to pay 80k to get a awesome stock system though.

Then I guess the 5k I spent on mine was a steal then 30k for car 5k for system
