Anyone know what and where can I get a adapter for the stock Bose radio for a 2000 TL so I can connect an amplifier to it?

I'm pretty sur that all of the Bose speakers are individually amplified...I did a similar thing to the Bose system in my old Audi, and within a week I blew 3 speakers. In my opinion, amplifying them further will be a recipe for disaster.

 

Thanks for the tip, but I don't want to amplify the existing I want to add a bass box in the trunk and I want to keep the existing unit.

there you go a vast resorse of answers to every stereo related Q a newbie(not an insult) can dream of.
BTW I've been there and done that, "add a sub thing"(2 10"s and MTX amp) sounds good and wired off existing bose set-up.

Does anyone know what I can do to make my shift gate look better because it's missing like half of the paint that it comes with.
So it looks pretty nasty. I'm trying to avoid a brand new one. Any suggestions before I just agree on getting a new one?
