You can switch the one you have for a 6 disc.

I too have been checking on this. As far as I know, and I may be wrong or misinformed, but CL changers do not work in TL's and if you have a NAV model you must get a changer from a NAV model if you want the Nav. voice function to work. The CL has a 6 speaker system and the TLs have 5 speakers. I forget which one, but one of them is powered at the speaker and the other has the amp in the deck.

The CL has a separate amp.

if you get the headunit from the 03 it is a direct plug and play.
every thing will work, steering wheel controls also

the cl headunit though they look the same wont work.

where ever you get it from make sure you get teh radio code with it!

so, will an '02 not work?? or are you only positive about the '03 from experience??

And if they don't have the radio code, you might be able to get it with the VIN# of the car it came from and the serial# off the unit by calling the dealer. I would get this info before purchasing if I were you.

I think it's been available since '01. My girlfriend's CL is an '01 and it has the changer. As standard equipment, I think it was '02 or '03.
